Of Many Colors

A very sweet photo/text album based on the renowned exhibit "Check Other: Portraits of Multiracial Families". There are interviews with, and photos of, many families around the US and it is wonderful to finally see accurate reflections of the varieties of multiracial families out there. Formed not only by interracial relationships, but also by transracial adoption, multiracial families are nowhere near as new or different as the popular media would have us think. The portraits show everyone how diverse we are by ethnicity, but also how similar we are as people. This exhibit, now entitled "Of Many Colors" has traveled all over the country since 1994.
